This device analyses and evaluates the biomechanical features of the human hamstrings. With this worldwide unique system, changes at the hamstring can be recognized at an early stage to prevent injury. When developing, a maximum of system rigidity and sturdiness needed to be achieved to absorb the large swinging forces that are induced into the measuring systems and the device. Apart from that, the system requires an easy adjustment to individual requirements and needs to be easily foldable due to the desired mobility. This was achieved with several maintenance-free drylin® linear guide systems from igus®.
